Job Description: The Technology Operations focused Solution Executive is responsible for key sales pursuit activities relating to network data center, enterprise service management and risk & security within the business cycle for all customers. Activities include pre-sales strategy, solutioning, and transition to delivery. This role is tightly coupled with the Global Services sales team, solution and practice architects, as well as practice leadership. The Solution Executive consults with multiple layers of our clients’ business and technology management to help direct and shape the solution. The primary functions and required skills are to conduct discovery, provide insights and guide clients in driving impactful business solutions. The Solution Executive is expected to influence and guide service revenue growth in excess of $20M per year. This role will require approximately 30% travel (potentially after Covid restrictions are removed). Primary responsibilities and requisite skills: Pre-Sales: Overall • Responsible for building, driving and managing client-focused campaigns centered on core practice capabilities and linked to industry-based initiatives • Develop and drive a business and technological point of view to our customers • Drive and support business development activities by providing relevant previous experiences and an understanding of our practice capabilities and methodologies • Provide market insight into the creation of practice sales collateral, accelerators and assets Opportunity Specific • Ensure proposed solutions align with client business, technical, process, resource, and contractual requirements • Demonstrate thought leadership early and throughout the sales cycle • Engage practice area technical architects and leadership at the appropriate time to ensure delivery excellence, mitigate risk, and facilitate solution development and communication • Own solution development, pricing and associated deliverables Additional Responsibilities • Transition new business to delivery, ensuring a proper handoff and project start • Support account management at key accounts • Alliance partnership activities with key technology partners Required Education and/or Experience: • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or related field • Master’s in Business Administration or equivalent is a plus, but not required • 8+ years’ experience in Information Technology Professional Services required; 12+ years preferred • 5+ years’ experience in a professional services organization (i.e. IBM, Cap Gemini, TCS, Cognizant, etc.) solutioning Datacenter & Enterprise Management services • 5+ years in client facing roles interfacing with business and technology executives • 5+ years of hands-on solutioning & delivery experience in the following areas: o Data Center Services & Enterprise Service Management o Information Security & Compliance/Governance • Preferred Certifications: CISSP, CISM, or CISA • Experience developing effort/cost estimates, writing statements of work, and reviewing/contributing to client contractual agreement; language Keys to Success • Must have outstanding presentation and writing skills with the ability to communicate at all levels within the client and TEKsystems organization • Must have strong business and information technology acumen with the ability to communicate capabilities, gather and assess client requirements, and communicate solution and value proposition to clients • Must have strong technical understanding with the ability build credibility with IT and Business Leadership
