Job Title: Stacker – Day Shift
Job Overview
- Support a high-speed food production facility.
- Responsible for boxing, stacking, palletizing, and material handling.
- Work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with a focus on safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Box and stack food products efficiently on production lines.
- Load boxes (15–20 lbs) onto machines and remove finished boxes.
- Open boxes of empty glass bottles and feed them into production machines.
- Palletize finished products neatly and securely.
- Wrap pallets to ensure safe handling and transport.
- Use pallet jacks to move materials and pallets.
- Maintain steady workflow with production line team members.
- Keep work area clean, organized, and hazard-free.
- Follow all GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and quality standards.
- Monitor equipment and report safety, quality, or process issues.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift 15–20 pounds consistently.
- Ability to stand for 10–12 hour shifts.
- Experience working in fast-paced production environments (preferred).
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization.
- Knowledge or willingness to follow food safety and GMP guidelines.
- Comfortable working around strong food smells (garlic, salsa, etc.).
- Ability to work in a multilingual environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in warehouse, production, or general labor roles.
- Experience in palletizing and using pallet jacks.
- Previous production line or stacker experience.
- Willingness to learn new machines and processes.
- Interest in career advancement (forklift operator, machine operator).
Work Schedule & Environment
- Day shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM.
- 10–12 hour shifts depending on production needs.
- Work in a non-climate-controlled facility (hot in summer, cold in winter).
- Exposure to food production smells and machinery heat.
- Fast-paced, team-based environment with large workforce.
Safety & PPE Requirements
- PPE provided: gloves, hair nets, beard nets (if applicable), ear plugs, safety glasses.
- Steel-toed boots required (employee provided).
- Company-provided uniform shirts (2 royal blue shirts).
- Must follow all hygiene and safety guidelines.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hurlock, MD.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00/hr.
