Design land development projects in Prince George's, Montgomery, and Howard Counties of Maryland. Utilize AutoCAD and Civil 3D to develop design concepts and plans in areas such as site layout, water, sewer mains, roads, soil erosion and sedimentation control plans, floodplain studies, and grading plans. Provide assistance to team members and management to achieve department goals.
Responsibilities- Design land development projects using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Develop plans for site layout, water and sewer mains, and roads.
- Create soil erosion and sedimentation control plans.
- Conduct floodplain studies and develop grading plans.
- Assist team members and management in meeting department objectives.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD & Civil 3D.
- 2-5 years of experience in designing with AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or MicroStation.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
- Knowledge of Montgomery County permits.
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification preferred.
- Experience in drainage and floodplain studies, site grading, stormwater management, and water/sewer plans.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- E.I.T. certification preferred.
- Experience in private land development preferred.
- Willingness to visit client sites and engage in project management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Local candidates preferred.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
