Job Title: Commercial Superintendent

Job Description

We are seeking a Commercial Superintendent to join our team. This role involves overseeing construction projects for retail and restaurant spaces. You will be responsible for managing the entire construction process, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget, while maintaining high safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial interior tenant fit-out projects.
• Push schedules and coordinate trades to ensure timely project completion.
• Maintain a safe working environment by understanding and enforcing safety requirements.
• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders, including designers, subcontractors, and suppliers, to deliver projects successfully.
• Create and maintain a Two Week Look Ahead schedule for the Project Manager.
• Generate Requests for Information (RFIs) as needed.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of three years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction, particularly in interior renovations.
• Proficiency with construction management software such as Autodesk and Procore.
• Technical savvy and experience in managing schedules and subcontractors.
• Knowledge of building codes and safety procedures.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with project sizes ranging from $500k to $3 million.
• Valid Driver's License.

Work Environment

You will work as the sole superintendent per project, with sites located within Montgomery County, the DC Metro area, and as far as Inwood, WV, and the Eastern Shore.
