Job Title: Construction Technician
Job Description
This client-facing Construction Technician role focuses on loading, transporting, assembling, and dismantling party and tent rental equipment at a variety of outdoor job sites. You will perform heavy physical labor, ensure equipment is properly organized and maintained, and support event setup and teardown while working closely with the onsite team and supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Load trucks each morning with all required party and tent rental materials and equipment for the day’s jobs.
- Verify that all necessary tools, supplies, and event equipment are properly secured and ready for transport.
- Travel from the shop to various job sites in company trucks as part of a field crew.
- Assemble and set up party and tent rental equipment at schools, country clubs, event venues, and other locations.
- Disassemble and tear down party and tent rental equipment at the end of events or projects.
- Reload trucks with all equipment and materials at the end of each job, ensuring nothing is left behind.
- Organize and store materials and equipment back at the warehouse after returning from job sites.
- Perform general construction and heavy labor tasks as needed, including work related to concrete, asphalt, roofing, and site development.
- Lift and move heavy materials and equipment, consistently handling loads over 100 pounds.
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining safety and productivity.
- Follow directions from the supervisor and complete other duties as assigned to support daily operations.
Essential Skills
- Minimum of 2+ years of heavy labor experience in construction or a similar physically demanding environment.
- Proven experience with construction-related work such as concrete, asphalt, roofing, or site development.
- Ability to consistently lift and carry more than 100 pounds throughout the workday.
- Comfort working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions for extended periods.
- Reliable general labor skills, including loading, unloading, and organizing materials and equipment.
- Ability to work until the job is completed without restrictions on end time.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills for a client-facing, onsite environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience using hand tools and power tools in a construction or labor setting is a plus.
- Experience in construction labor or general labor supporting event or site setup is beneficial.
- Ability to travel daily from the shop to multiple job sites as part of a crew.
- Strong attention to detail when loading, securing, and organizing equipment.
- Dependable work ethic and willingness to perform a wide range of physical tasks.

Work Environment

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
