Job Title: Material Handler (1st/3rd Shift)
Job Summary
Support warehouse and production operations by safely moving materials, operating equipment, and completing physical tasks. Work either 1st or 3rd shift with opportunities for cross-training across functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Move, organize, and stage materials throughout the warehouse
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment
- Perform grinding, packaging, and machine operation (1st shift)
- Load trucks and handle outgoing shipments (3rd shift)
- Follow safety procedures and wear required PPE
- Accurately track and place inventory
- Lift 50+ lbs and remain active (standing/walking/bending) throughout shift
- Assist in multiple areas as part of cross-training
Requirements
- 6+ months of warehouse or manufacturing experience
- Ability to operate or learn forklifts
- Able to lift 50+ lbs consistently
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, physical environment
- Reliable with strong attendance
Preferred
- Forklift or powered industrial truck experience
Grinding, packaging, or machine operation

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Portland, ME.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.50/hr.
