Job Title: Assembler Technician
Job Description
The assembler Technician supports the production of medical oxygen concentrators by performing washing, assembly, disassembly, and inspection of components in a controlled cleanroom environment. This role involves rotating through various areas of the warehouse, learning multiple tasks, and following detailed written manufacturing procedures to ensure high-quality, safe, and compliant products.
Responsibilities
- Perform washing, cleaning, and preparation of oxygen concentrator components in a cleanroom environment.
- Assemble and disassemble oxygen concentrator parts using basic hand tools and step-by-step manufacturing procedures.
- Read, understand, and follow written instructions in English from manufacturing procedure booklets.
- Inspect parts and finished assemblies for quality, accuracy, and completeness, ensuring all components are correctly installed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation and adhere to cleanroom protocols at all times.
- Rotate through various areas within the warehouse and cleanroom to support different stages of the production process.
- Assist with loading and unloading freight on the dock as needed, including handling returned products that may require cleaning.
- Monitor work for attention to detail, recognizing and reporting any defects or issues that could affect product performance or safety.
- Follow general production, quality, and inspection standards to meet company and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members, communicating clearly about instructions, progress, and any problems encountered.
Essential Skills
- Ability to read and understand written instructions in English and accurately repeat or articulate them to a supervisor.
- Experience performing basic hand assembly work, such as step-by-step assembly similar to furniture assembly.
- Ability to use basic hand tools safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure oxygen concentrators are assembled correctly and safely.
- Capability to work consistently in a cleanroom environment and follow cleanliness and procedural standards.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing or assembly experience in a cleanroom environment is preferred.
- General production, quality, and inspection experience is beneficial.
- Comfort working in different areas of a warehouse, including on the dock when needed.
- Ability to adapt to learning various tasks and processes as production needs evolve.

Work Environment
This role is based 100% in a cleanroom environment within a newer warehouse facility. The cleanroom and warehouse can feel warm in the summer and cold in the winter, and some tasks may involve handling returned components that arrive dirty. While there is a possibility of getting dirty during the day, maintaining a clean and orderly workstation is expected at all times.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Auburn Hills, MI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $16.50 - $17.33/hr.
