TEKsystems is looking to hire several fully remote inbound and outbound Customer Service Representative for a large education company.

Description

This company specializes in teacher licensing and performance assessments, offering tailored testing programs that align with state standards. They provide a range of services, including test development, administration, and scoring, in a collaborative and education-focused environment.


Customer Service Representative (CSR) Role:

The CSR is part of the Customer Contact Center, responsible for handling high volumes of inquiries about teacher certification programs. They assist customers via phone, web uploads, chat, and email, following established protocols to address concerns related to certification, website issues, and complaints.


Key Responsibilities:

- Respond to inquiries across multiple programs using different communication channels.

- Understand customer needs and provide prompt, accurate support.

- Utilize various systems and resources (websites, published materials) to resolve issues.

- Serve as the initial point of contact, escalating complex technical problems as necessary.

- Maintain detailed customer records using a CRM system.

- Uphold security protocols and service quality standards.

- Perform additional assigned tasks.


Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience: Preferably 1-3 years in customer service (call center experience is beneficial but training is provided).

Technical Skills: Proficiency in PC operations, web navigation, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).

Communication Skills: Strong oral and written skills; Spanish language proficiency is a plus.

Soft Skills: Attention to detail, problem-solving, organizational ability, and active listening.

Education: High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience.


Ideal candidates have customer service experience in call centers, retail, or restaurants.

Must adhere to policies related to privacy, security, and compliance regulations.

Primarily focused on inbound support for teacher certification inquiries—no sales involved.
