Job Title: Clinical Research Assistant


Job Description

The research assistant will participate in weekly meetings to review upcoming patient populations. They will prepare templates for the patients they will be seeing the following week, determining if the necessary kits and amounts are available. Additionally, they will perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance tasks in the lab. A typical day involves interaction with the coordinator or nurse for sample processing, and communication with sponsor representatives for clarification on processes and collections. Collaboration with internal data and regulatory teams is also essential.


Responsibilities

  • Attend weekly meetings to review patient populations.
  • Prepare templates for upcoming patient visits and determine kit availability.
  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly lab maintenance tasks.
  • Process blood samples and ship them according to protocol standards.
  • Order lab supplies and maintain equipment.
  • Interact with coordinators or nurses to receive samples for processing.
  • Communicate with sponsor representatives for process clarification.
  • Collaborate with internal data and regulatory teams.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in laboratory work.
  • Proficiency in blood sample processing and sample shipping.
  • Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) principles.
  • Clinical research expertise.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Clinical research qualifications are a plus!
