Machine Builder
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Machine Builder for a 1st shift position from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 4:30 PM, depending on overtime. The role involves disassembling and assembling conveyors, building guards for test equipment, and rebuilding various equipment from the ground up. As part of the research and development group, you will work from engineering drawings to build both mechanical and electrical components using basic hand tools provided.
Responsibilities
- Disassemble and assemble conveyors.
- Build guards for test equipment and rebuild equipment from the ground up.
- Collaborate with engineering to interpret and build according to mechanical and electrical prints.
- Utilize basic hand tools for assembly and fabrication tasks.
- Work closely with a designated buddy to ensure safety during project completion.
- Operate with minimal direction from management.
Essential Skills
- 3 years of experience in machine build/assembly.
- 3 years of experience in reading mechanical blueprints.
- 3 years of experience operating manual lathes and/or mills (Bridgeports).
- 3 years of experience in electrical assembly.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in welding and fabrication.
- Knowledge of automation.
- Journeyman Electrician certification.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
