Job Description
The Quality Project Specialist qualifies, validates, and revises electronic quality logbooks while converting hardcopy records into digital format in alignment with defined standards and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements. This role ensures that digital quality records are accurate, compliant, and effectively support quality operations.
Responsibilities
- Qualify and validate electronic quality logbooks to ensure they meet established GMP and internal quality standards.
- Convert hardcopy quality records into digital format, following defined data entry and documentation standards.
- Review and revise electronic quality logbooks to maintain accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Perform detailed data entry and verification to ensure integrity of quality records.
- Apply GMP principles throughout the qualification and validation process for electronic records.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to address issues or discrepancies identified during validation activities.
- Use Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, to manage, analyze, and organize quality data.
- Support continuous improvement of digital quality record processes and documentation practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including experience with Microsoft Excel.
- Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience working in a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) environment.
- Understanding of validation processes for electronic records or systems.
- Familiarity with aseptic practices and quality documentation requirements.
- Ability to use and understand Microsoft Excel formulas to analyze and organize data.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to follow defined standards and procedures.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks within defined timelines.
This is an on-site role working a first-shift schedule, Monday through Friday. The position operates in a structured environment that follows GMP standards, where accuracy, compliance, and adherence to documented procedures are essential. The work involves regular use of computers and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, to manage and validate digital quality records.

This is a Contract position based out of Kalamazoo, MI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
