Responsibilities- Troubleshoot issues related to injection molding processes and associated equipment.
- Document and communicate problem-solving results and deviations from established methods.
- Maintain documentation for process equipment and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Systematically check all variables to ensure optimal quality and quantity balance.
- Supervise the injection molding process to maintain proper controls.
- Assist with scheduling routine and preventative maintenance to minimize production impact.
- Analyze operations for potential improvements and recommend enhancements.
- Assist in training associates for line operations and process control monitoring.
- Monitor mold change program loading and set-ups, verifying first shot checks for quality assurance.
- 5+ years of experience in a plastic injection facility.
- Ability to perform 4-6 mold changes per day using magnetic clamps.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting injection mold machines.
- Understanding of correcting issues such as burns, splays, and shorts.
- Crane and forklift experience for mold changes.
- Robotics background with Sepro and Fanuc systems.
- Experience in robot programming and troubleshooting.
- PLC troubleshooting skills with the person and Siemens systems.

Work EnvironmentWork in a large, well-lit facility located conveniently off I94. The plant features both assembly and plastic injection sides, equipped with advanced presses and robotics. The work schedule typically runs Monday to Friday with potential Saturday shifts, primarily from 11am to 9pm, with opportunities for first shift openings.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $70720.00/yr.
Large facility off I94 in Harrison Township. Very well let with both assembly and plastic injection side 11 presses 4x lines with Fanuc robots for assembly for the Grand Cherokee And then lines on the other side for assembly for the Ford Bronco Getting in more work from Romulus at the end of the year for the floor console for Stellantis
