Network Architect
Location: Remote - Must support EST - Michigan candidate preferred within drivable distance.
Type: Contract to Hire - 6 months contracted through TEKsystems and then convert perm with customer
We are seeking a highly skilled Network Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong networking skills and sr-level experience. This role will support our global network infrastructure and collaborate with various partners and teams to ensure seamless operations and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage network architecture to support global operations.
- Collaborate with other partners to manage day-to-day network operations
- Support cloud initiatives, including workloads on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Assist with network refresh projects and evaluate budget and cost-saving opportunities.
- Provide expertise in vulnerability management and integration of tools like Tanium and ServiceNow.
- Support infrastructure, network, and cloud services, ensuring performance and scalability.
Technical Environment:
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP): 90% of SAP workloads.
- Amazon Web Services (AWS): Remaining workloads.
- Operating Systems: Windows and Linux.
- Disaster Recovery (DR): Switch Data Center in Grand Rapids.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
1. Certification in Cisco: CCIE preferred
2. Certification in relevant Cloud Platforms: GCP/AWS
