Job Description
This position involves performing general and scheduled maintenance on building grounds and all equipment. The role requires troubleshooting, repairing, and rebuilding equipment related to electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and hydraulics. Work is conducted through methods such as welding, soldering, wiring, fabricating, and painting. The shift starts between 6am and 7am, with workdays ranging from 8 to 12 hours, including some Saturdays as needed.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on machinery, equipment, physical structures, pipe and electrical systems, lift trucks, and cranes with minimal supervision.
- Operate cutting torches and welders.
- Diagnose and repair various types of equipment including hydraulics and pneumatics.
- Conduct on-site troubleshooting and repair of machines.
- Fabricate replacement parts, machine guards, replace motors, tear down or replace pumps, maintain fluid collection or distribution equipment, and repair electro-mechanical equipment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ypsilanti, MI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.
