Job Title: Mechanical Estimator

Job Description

We are looking to add a Mechanical Estimator to our team in West Michigan. In this role, you will play a crucial role in the preconstruction process by leading conceptual estimating efforts to produce accurate construction cost budgets and estimates. You will work closely with the Preconstruction team to conceptualize and interpret project scopes from incomplete or schematic documents and provide input throughout the design phase.

Responsibilities

• Lead conceptual estimating efforts to produce accurate construction cost budgets and estimates.
• Collaborate closely with the Preconstruction team to interpret project scopes from incomplete or schematic documents.
• Provide valuable input throughout the design phase.
• Utilize estimating software to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
• Engage in bidding processes, ensuring alignment with project specifications and budgets.
• Prepare and analyze takeoffs and budgets for various construction projects.

Essential Skills

• Expertise in mechanical estimating.
• Proficiency in commercial blueprints and takeoffs.
• Hold a hydronic licensing.
• Experience with estimating software.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Michigan state boiler license is a plus.
