Out client is in the middle of a large, multi-year enterprise transformation, including core
initiatives and M&A-driven change. This consultant will provide hands-on change execution support, partnering closely with an existing change lead to scale adoption efforts across multiple enterprise programs.
This role is focused on organizational readiness, stakeholder engagement, and leader coaching—not just
communications delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Change Execution &
Adoption
- Lead and support change management activities aligned to complex, multi-year program milestones
- Assess organizational readiness, adoption, and engagement using structured tools
- Translate business and technical change into role-specific, actionable impacts
Stakeholder Engagement
- Identify impacted teams and stakeholders; assess degree and type of impact
- Build trusted relationships across project teams, program leadership, and business units
- Serve as a two-way liaison between leadership and frontline teams
Communication & Change
Strategy
- Execute and refine communication strategies for internal audiences
- Reinforce the “why” behind changes to mitigate resistance and change fatigue
- Ensure inclusive, scalable messaging—no “in-groups” or missed audiences
Data-Driven Change
Management
- Design and execute readiness assessments, pulse surveys, and adoption metrics
- Collect qualitative and quantitative data to inform decisions
- Integrate findings into project plans, milestones, and risk mitigation
Program & Tool
Integration
- Work closely with internal teams and external vendors
- Operate within Smartsheet and Workfront as primary tools
- Collaborate using Jira and Confluence
- Participate in frequent project syncs (often 5x/week)
- Support discovery sessions (current vs. future state) for East and West regions
Change Leadership &
Coaching
- Coach leaders—especially middle management—through resistance and fatigue
- Help leaders model and reinforce change within their teams
- Support Action Team Leads and change champions with clear expectations and cadence
Required Experience &
Skills
- Proven hands-on change delivery on medium to large enterprise initiatives
- Strong familiarity with Prosci / ADKAR / Kotter (certification strongly preferred)
- Comfortable working within a PMO and complex, multi-vendor program environment
- Ability to translate “what’s changing” into clear role- and team-level impacts
- Strong written communication in plain language
- Readiness- and adoption-focused mindset with tangible assessment tools
- Self-sufficient after initial ramp-up
Not a fit for: ITIL-focused change control or purely advisory change
roles.
