Job Description
This role focuses on assembling, wiring, and terminating electrical panels and electrical boxes to high workmanship standards. You will work from schematics, blueprints, and work orders to layout components, perform point-to-point wiring, and complete installation into enclosures using company-supplied tools. The position requires strong wiring proficiency and attention to detail in a fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities
- Assemble, terminate, and wire electrical panels and electrical boxes using specified tooling and approved workmanship standards.
- Complete installation of electrical panels and components into enclosures according to defined procedures.
- Perform point-to-point wiring on a variety of electrical panels and power distribution electrical boxes using company-supplied hand tools such as crimpers and wire cutters.
- Read and interpret schematic drawings, wiring diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, and reports to determine material requirements and assembly instructions.
- Position, align, and adjust workpieces and electrical parts to facilitate accurate wiring and assembly.
- Lay out components in various sizes of cabinets to ensure proper fit, function, and accessibility.
- Maintain a strong focus on wiring quality and accuracy, ensuring all connections meet safety and performance standards.
- Follow production schedules and instructions to complete assemblies on time while maintaining quality.
- Use hand tools safely and correctly while maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- At least 1 year of electrical panel assembly experience.
- At least 1 year of electrical wiring experience.
- At least 1 year of experience reading and interpreting wiring schematics.
- At least 1 year of experience reading and interpreting blueprints.
- Proficiency in point-to-point wiring of electrical panels and power distribution boxes.
- Ability to interpret and follow schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, and work orders.
- Experience using hand tools such as crimpers and wire cutters in an electrical assembly environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
- Experience working in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Comfort working with various sizes and configurations of electrical cabinets and enclosures.
- Ability to follow standardized processes and assembly instructions.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain a neat work area.

Work Environment
You will work in a clean, well-lit facility that supports focused and detailed electrical assembly work. While the environment is not fully temperature controlled, large garage doors and industrial fans help circulate air effectively. The standard schedule is a first shift, running from 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday, with overtime opportunities on Fridays. The dress code includes jeans or cargo pants, a t-shirt, and steel-toed shoes to support safety and comfort on the production floor.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Arden Hills, MN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
