Job Title: Inventory Specialist
Job Description
The Inventory Specialist will conduct daily physical cycle counts and report findings to the inventory manager. Responsibilities include entering inventory data within Excel, utilizing hand carts, bins, and both automatic and manual pallet jacks for material handling. The role involves using computers to identify and print pick lists, verifying part numbers, quantities, locations, and work orders to ensure accuracy. The Inventory Specialist will navigate stairs to retrieve necessary parts and lead by example to ensure production needs are met on time. There is an opportunity to develop under supervision to eventually lead the inventory department.
Responsibilities
- Conduct daily physical cycle counts and report to inventory manager.
- Enter inventory data within Excel.
- Utilize hand carts, bins, and pallet jacks for material handling.
- Use computers to identify and print pick lists.
- Verify part numbers, quantities, locations, and work orders for accuracy.
- Retrieve necessary parts from stairs.
- Lead by example to meet production needs on time.
- Develop under supervisor to lead the inventory department.
Essential Skills
- 1+ year of inventory control experience.
- Ability to verify part numbers, quantities, and locations.
- Experience with Excel and inventory management systems.
- Proficiency with RF scanners and order picking.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Warehouse experience required.
- Leadership experience preferred.
- Knowledge of inventory accuracy.

Work Environment
The Inventory Specialist will work on the 1st shift from 8am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bloomington, MN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
