Job Title: Industrial Laborer – Precast Concrete Manufacturing
Job Description
This role works in an industrial manufacturing environment producing high-quality precast concrete products. You will support the production process by preparing and cleaning concrete forms and molds, performing basic carpentry tasks, and maintaining a clean and safe facility. As part of a collaborative team, you contribute directly to efficient, safe operations and consistent product quality.
Responsibilities
- Strip and clean concrete forms and finished concrete products to prepare them for reuse or further processing.
- Prepare steel molds for filling with concrete, including assembling components, applying release agents, and ensuring proper alignment and cleanliness.
- Perform basic carpentry tasks related to building, repairing, and adjusting forms and molds used in precast concrete production.
- Handle general labor duties in a construction and manufacturing setting, including moving materials, positioning molds, and assisting machine operators as needed.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to support daily production activities.
- Follow simple written instructions and work orders to complete tasks accurately and on time.
- Communicate clearly with team members to coordinate work, report issues, and support safe, efficient operations.
- Perform facility maintenance and housekeeping to keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Work both indoors and outdoors with precast concrete molds, adapting to varying temperatures and conditions.
- Lift and move materials weighing up to 40 pounds periodically throughout the day while following safe lifting practices.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, including proper use of tools, equipment, and personal protective gear.
- Contribute to meeting production and quality standards by working efficiently and paying attention to detail.
Essential Skills
- Experience in manufacturing or construction environments preferred, with exposure to concrete or general labor work.
- Ability to perform basic carpentry tasks related to forms, molds, and simple structural components.
- Hands-on experience using common hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Knowledge of basic math and measurements to read dimensions, measure materials, and verify accuracy.
- Ability to read and write simple instructions, work orders, and safety guidelines.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds periodically throughout the day and perform heavier, physically demanding tasks.
- Comfort working in an industrial setting with precast concrete molds, both indoors and outdoors.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in concrete, construction, or general labor work is an asset.
- Experience in an industrial manufacturing environment producing building materials or similar products is beneficial.
- Ability to follow established processes and quality standards to ensure consistent product output.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
