Production Welder
Job Description
We are hiring Welders to join a manufacturing team. In this role, you will weld, assemble, and inspect metal parts while following production and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding on metal parts and components
- Read blueprints and work instructions
- Assemble and fit metal components
- Use grinders, cutting tools, and measuring tools
- Inspect finished welds for quality
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Meet daily production goals
- Follow all safety procedures
Requirements
- Previous MIG welding experience
- Ability to read blueprints and drawings
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- TIG or Stick welding experience
- Fabrication or production welding background
- Welding certification or related training

Work Environment
Manufacturing environment with welding equipment and machinery. Employees will stand for extended periods, perform repetitive tasks, and work in varying temperatures and noise levels. Multiple shifts may be available based on production needs.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chatfield, MN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
