Job Title: Medical Assembler
Job Description
Join our dynamic Production Operations Team as a Medical Assembler, responsible for assembling critical medical equipment used in hospital rooms. You will work on the first shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities
- Assemble components of a bedside monitoring device with precision.
- Follow established assembly processes and techniques meticulously.
- Document any defective parts or errors encountered during the assembly process.
- Ensure quality and efficiency in every step of the assembly process.
- Perform final testing on sub-assemblies to ensure functionality.
- Work in a team-oriented environment and be cross-trained into six stations.
Essential Skills
- At least one year of experience in electro/mechanical medical operations.
- Mechanical aptitude with a strong interest in the medical device industry.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and computer programs like MS Word.
- Demonstrated ability to follow manufacturing processes and solve problems.
- Ability to maintain accurate documentation and record traceability information.
- Capability to work effectively in a team setting and manage multiple tasks.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Previous assembly and testing experience.
- Ability to lift and package assemblies up to 45 lbs.
- Effective communication skills in English.
- Experience in general production, inventory, packing, and mechanical assembly.
