Test Technician – Neuromodulation Medical Devices

As a Test Technician, you'll work hands-on with advanced medical devices, specialized test equipment, and engineering teams to develop, test, troubleshoot, and improve innovative products.
What You'll Do
- Set up, calibrate, and operate electrical and mechanical test systems.
- Execute product testing, analyze results, and document findings.
- Troubleshoot and repair test equipment, fixtures, and laboratory systems.
- Build, modify, and improve test fixtures and prototypes.
- Perform soldering, assembly, and hands-on mechanical work.
- Collaborate closely with engineers to support product development and validation.
- Support multiple projects while identifying opportunities for process improvements.
- Maintain high-quality documentation and ensure compliance with testing procedures.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in a technician, testing, manufacturing, or laboratory environment (or equivalent technical training).
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience using laboratory or test equipment.
- Ability to read schematics, drawings, and technical documentation.
- Soldering experience and hands-on mechanical aptitude.
- Detail-oriented problem solver who enjoys working with complex systems.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with engineering teams.
Nice to Have
- Technical degree, vocational training, or certification.
- Medical device, R&D, or product testing experience.
- Experience with Instron, Bose ElectroForce, or similar test systems.
- Fixture development, prototyping, or calibration experience.
- Personal mechanical or electrical project experience (vehicles, electronics, repairs, etc.).

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Fridley, MN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $31.00/hr.
