Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Payroll and Benefits Specialist to manage payroll processes and serve as a key resource for compensation and benefit plans. This role involves ensuring timely and accurate payroll, and maintaining compliance with laws and regulations. You will collaborate with higher management to enhance benefit programs and partner with Learning & Development to provide employee training.
Responsibilities
- Administer payroll and serve as a resource for Payroll Specialists regarding compensation and benefit plans.
- Review weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly payroll processes to ensure timely and accurate employee payments.
- Maintain and improve the Benefits Guide and Company Handbook, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with upper management to analyze and recommend improvements for benefit programs.
- Partner with Learning & Development to arrange and conduct training sessions and workshops for employees.
- Act as a liaison between employees and benefit carriers during the benefit claim process, resolving any issues.
Essential Skills
- 3+ years of payroll experience
- Proficiency in payroll and benefits administration
- Experience with multi-state payroll processing
- Experience with employee onboarding processes
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with Paycom is a plus
- Experience with onboarding and benefit aspects of payroll is beneficial
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.85 - $33.65/hr.
