This role focuses on handling and preparing 55-gallon drums for cleaning and shipment within a large factory environment. You unload empty drums from trailers, place them onto conveyor lines, and support the mechanical washing process. After cleaning, you stack the drums on pallets in the shipping area while maintaining consistent quality checks and adhering to safety and productivity standards throughout a 10-hour day shift.
Responsibilities- Unload empty 55-gallon drums, weighing approximately 30–35 pounds each, from trailers and place them onto the conveyor line.
- Separate and place drum lids onto their designated conveyor line.
- Monitor drums as they move through a series of mechanical washing stations to ensure proper processing.
- Stack cleaned drums onto pallets in the final shipping area in a neat and stable manner.
- Prepare full pallets for pickup by the shipping team and maintain an organized work area.
- Perform quality checks on drums and lids throughout the workday to ensure they meet cleanliness and product standards.
- Follow all safety procedures while lifting, moving, and stacking drums and working around washers and dryers.
- Stand and work on your feet for the duration of the 10-hour shift while maintaining productivity.
- Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors to coordinate workflow and address any issues with equipment or product quality.
- At least 6 months of factory or production work experience.
- Ability to stand for the entire 10-hour shift.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 35 pounds continuously throughout the workday.
- Strong attention to detail when performing quality checks on products.
- Capability to perform general labor tasks in a factory environment.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English to follow instructions and safety guidelines.
- Reliability and consistency in meeting attendance and productivity expectations.
- Previous experience in general labor or high-volume production settings.
- Comfort working in a warm and humid environment near industrial washers and dryers.
- Ability to work a fixed day shift schedule of 10 hours, Monday through Thursday, with occasional availability on Fridays.
- Willingness to follow established processes and adapt to changing production needs.

Work EnvironmentThe role is based in a large open-space factory that uses mechanical washers and dryers to clean 55-gallon drums, resulting in a warm and humid work environment. You work a single day shift only, typically a 10-hour schedule from Monday to Thursday, 5:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with occasional work available on Fridays. The position is physically active, requiring continuous standing, frequent lifting of 30–35-pound drums, and working around moving conveyor lines. Standard industrial attire is expected, including clothing and footwear suitable for a factory setting and compliant with safety requirements.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $16.50 - $16.50/hr.
