Job Description
Join a dynamic manufacturing facility dedicated to producing top-quality asphalt maintenance equipment. From fabrication to final assembly, this facility specializes in equipment that heats, stores, transports, and applies a variety of asphaltic materials essential for roadway maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Perform fabrication and welding operations for large hoppers and tanks, ensuring leakproof processes in accordance with documented manufacturing procedures and prints.
- Set up and operate advanced Axcess 40v wire feeders and Axcess 300 pulse welders.
- Execute welding of tank and hopper walls using MIG and Pulse practices.
- Utilize jigs and fixtures necessary for the majority of daily operations.
- Conduct self-inspections and evaluate the quality of products before forwarding them to the next step in the fulfillment process.
- 2+ years of MIG pulse welding experience.
- Proficiency in complete welding processes.
- Comfortable with reading blueprints and executing MIG welding.
- Ability to read and interpret weld symbols and blueprints.
- Skill in performing basic structural weld joints such as T, Lap, Corner to corner, Butt.
- Proficiency in MIG and Pulse welding procedures and operations, with some experience in TIG welding.
- Capability to consistently produce aesthetically acceptable welds finished to company expectations.
- Ability to consistently weld to leak-proof standards.
- Experience with open tank, closed tank, and hot oil leakproof testing procedures.

This is a Contract position based out of North Branch, MN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $33.00/hr.
