CDL Class B Driver – Millwork Delivery

Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable CDL Class B Driver to deliver custom millwork products to residential and commercial job sites throughout the Twin Cities and surrounding areas. This full-time position combines professional driving with hands-on material handling, making it ideal for someone who enjoys being active, working independently, and representing a company through safe and reliable service.
Key Responsibilities
Driving & Delivery
- Safely operate a CDL Class B vehicle to deliver custom millwork products
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes while meeting scheduled timelines
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and required documentation
Material Handling
- Load and unload millwork products, including doors, trim, and other building materials
- Secure loads properly to prevent damage during transport
- Deliver products to job sites, warehouses, and customer locations
- Lift and move materials up to 75 pounds on a regular basis
Customer Interaction
- Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner at delivery locations
- Communicate clearly with customers, contractors, and dispatch regarding delivery details
- Address basic delivery concerns and escalate issues when necessary
Warehouse Support
- Assist with staging and organizing materials for delivery
- Support shipping and receiving activities as needed
- Help maintain a clean and organized work area
Safety & Compliance
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safety guidelines
- Adhere to proper handling procedures for materials to prevent damage or injury
- Maintain a clean driving record and operate equipment responsibly
Required Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class B license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a DOT physical
- Strong knowledge of safe driving practices and DOT regulations
- Ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds regularly
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Strong communication skills and professionalism when interacting with customers
- Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort working in a hands-on environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience delivering building materials, millwork, or construction products
- Familiarity with the Twin Cities metro area and surrounding routes
- Forklift experience (or willingness to be trained)
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience
- Ability to read delivery orders, invoices, and basic work instructions
Schedule & Compensation
- Full-time position with consistent weekly hours
- Overtime available based on workload and seasonal demand

Work Environment

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $66560.00/yr.
