Job Description
This role involves operating stand-up reach forklifts and stand-up reach trucks in a large, clean warehouse environment to support material handling, order fulfillment, and shipping activities. You will use an RF scanner to accurately pick and put away materials, stage and palletize products for shipment, and assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed.
Responsibilities
- Operate stand-up reach forklifts and stand-up reach trucks safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse.
- Use RF scanners to pick orders accurately and put away materials in designated locations.
- Handle bobcat materials and other products, ensuring proper placement, handling, and storage.
- Stage materials and pallets for shipping according to shipping schedules and instructions.
- Load and unload trucks when needed, ensuring safe and efficient movement of pallets and product.
- Operate machinery to shrink wrap pallets securely for shipment.
- Palletize products neatly and securely to maintain load stability and product quality.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area within the warehouse.
- Assist in other warehouse tasks and departments as necessary to support overall operations.
- At least 6 months of experience operating a stand-up reach truck, including standing on the forklift while the forks raise and extend to grab pallets.
- Proficiency operating stand-up reach forklifts and stand-up reach trucks in a warehouse environment.
- Experience using RF scanners for order picking and putaway activities.
- Hands-on experience with order picking and staging pallets for shipment.
- Ability to safely load and unload trucks using forklifts and related equipment.
- Capability to palletize and shrink wrap products for secure transport.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when picking, staging, and storing materials.
- Commitment to working safely and following warehouse safety procedures.
- Experience operating other types of forklifts, such as sit-down forklifts and cherry pickers.
- Background in general warehouse operations, including order picking, putaway, and staging pallets.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-volume distribution or warehouse environment.
- Reliability in adhering to assigned shift schedules, including potential overtime.
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members and support other areas of the warehouse when needed.

Work Environment
You will work in a very large, clean, and well-organized warehouse that is well lit and designed for efficient material flow. The facility emphasizes safety, quality, and integrity in all operations and maintains values that prioritize customers and people. Multiple shifts are available, including 1st shift (6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.), 2nd shift (3:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.), 3rd shift (Sunday–Thursday, 8:00 p.m. – 4:30 a.m.), and a weekend shift (Saturday and Sunday, 6:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.), with overtime opportunities during the week and on Saturdays where applicable. The role requires regular use of stand-up reach forklifts, reach trucks, RF scanners, and pallet-wrapping equipment in a warehouse setting where organization and cleanliness are maintained to a high standard.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Otsego, MN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.25 - $23.00/hr.
