Job Description
We are seeking a talented Electrical Engineer with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) and a minimum of 5 years of proven experience in design and development with SoC and battery-powered circuits. The ideal candidate will have expertise in board bring-up, design verification, and testing of circuits with interfaces such as Bluetooth or WiFi.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop battery-powered circuits with SoC.
- Perform board bring-up and design verification testing.
- Create and validate schematics, hardware, and circuit designs.
- Test and verify designs independently, ensuring functionality and reliability.
- Work on new product development from the ground up, ensuring innovative and effective solutions.
- Collaborate with outsourced teams for board layout while focusing on core design tasks.
- Utilize design tools such as Altium, but remain open to other tools as necessary.
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in circuit design and development.
- Proficiency in board bring-up and design verification testing.
- Experience with microcontrollers and battery-powered circuit design.
- Familiarity with communication interfaces like Bluetooth and WiFi.
- Competence in using design tools, with a preference for Altium.
- Experience with new product development is highly valued.
- Ability to read specifications and wiring boards effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to test and validate own designs independently.
The role is situated within an engineering environment focused on high-technology auto vehicle diagnostics. This is a Contract position based out of Owatonna, MN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $45.00 - $64.00/hr.
