Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated individual to schedule and dispatch service technicians efficiently based on service requests and priorities to client locations. This role involves monitoring and tracking the status of service calls and technician availability, ensuring smooth communication with clients regarding service appointments and technician arrival times.
Responsibilities
- Schedule and dispatch service technicians based on service requests and priority to client locations.
- Monitor and track the status of service calls and technician availability.
- Communicate with clients to confirm service appointments and provide updates on technician arrival times.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, technician assignments, and client interactions.
- Collaborate with the service team to optimize scheduling and resource allocation.
- Address and resolve any scheduling conflicts or issues that may arise.
- Provide administrative support to the service department as needed.
Essential Skills
- Experience in dispatching service technicians.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a project coordinator or in dispatch.
- Proven ability to resolve scheduling conflicts.
- Experience in providing administrative support.
Work Environment
The role requires working five days in the office, with an option to work one day from home after 90 days. The position includes an on-call aspect, handling emergency tickets, and involves a rotational schedule with 12 team members. The on-call stipend is provided, with $250 for regular shifts and $350 for holidays. The schedule is flexible, allowing selection of four or five days a year.
