Welder (MIG / TIG) – Job Shop Environment

Job Summary
We are hiring a skilled MIG/TIG Welder to join a fast-paced contract manufacturing job shop. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of parts and materials, supporting different projects each week. Ideal candidates will have experience with thin-gauge welding, blueprint reading, and fabrication support tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding (14–18 gauge) in flat and horizontal positions
- Complete TIG welding on mild steel and stainless steel
- Load and unload parts from robotic welding equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and work instructions
- Grind, clean, and finish welded parts to meet quality standards
- Inspect welds and correct defects as needed
- Support a variety of projects in a job shop environment
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
- Follow all safety and production procedures
Required Qualifications
- Experience with MIG welding or completion of a welding program
- Ability to weld in flat and horizontal positions
- Experience or exposure to TIG welding (mild steel & stainless)
- Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols
- Strong attention to detail and quality
Work Environment
- Large industrial job shop with robotic welders and fabrication equipment
- Production-driven environment with consistent workflow
- Exposure to moderate noise and active shop setting
- Must follow PPE and safety standards at all times

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
