Lead and supervise mechanical insulation crews on industrial and commercial construction projects. Coordinate daily work activities to ensure project schedules and milestones are achieved.
Responsibilities- Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and project documents.
- Plan manpower, equipment, and material needs for each phase of work.
- Install and oversee installation of insulation systems on piping, ductwork, tanks, vessels, boilers, chillers, and HVAC systems.
- Install and supervise the application of aluminum, stainless steel, PVC, and other protective jacketing systems.
- Conduct daily safety meetings and enforce company safety policies and OSHA standards.
- Train, mentor, and develop apprentices and insulation team members.
- Monitor quality control and ensure all work meets project specifications and company standards.
- Communicate project progress, schedule updates, and jobsite issues with project managers and clients.
- 5+ years of mechanical insulation experience.
- Prior experience leading crews as a Supervisor, Lead Insulator, or Supervisor.
- Strong understanding of insulation systems, materials, and installation methods.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and project specifications.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively.
- Proficient with measuring, layout, fabrication, and installation techniques.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work overtime and weekends as project schedules require.
- Experience with insulation, ductwork, sheet metal, and HVAC installations.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $26.00 - $35.00/hr.
