Why Work Here?
This opportunity offers an 8-week assignment that provides hands-on experience with cutting-edge material handling and robotic systems in a large distribution center environment. You gain valuable exposure to the installation side of advanced automation technology, working closely with experienced project teams in a high-visibility setting. The role offers variety in day-to-day tasks, the chance to build practical skills in mechanical installation and material handling, and a strong foundation for future opportunities in industrial automation and warehouse operations.
Work Environment
The role is based in a large distribution center that is currently under construction, which can be messy, loud, and at times crowded. Work is performed on mezzanine and sub-mezzanine levels, primarily on hard cement floors, and involves moderate to heavy physical activity throughout an 8-hour shift. The environment offers a high level of visibility, so professionalism and a presentable appearance are important. Required attire includes personal protective equipment such as a high-visibility vest, safety glasses, hard hat, gloves, and composite toe shoes or boots.
