Job Description
We are seeking a talented Drafter to join our team, focusing on electrical drafting using AutoCAD for new substation projects, upgraded substations, or maintenance tasks with substations.
Responsibilities
- Utilize Autodesk AutoCAD for electrical drafting tasks.
- Work on new substation projects, upgrades, and maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project specifications are met.
- Communicate effectively with team members and other stakeholders.
- Participate in the design process and make efforts to grow beyond CAD work.
- Proficiency with Autodesk AutoCAD.
- 0 to 5 years of drafting experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to ask questions and be a proactive learner.
- Computer and technology savvy.
- Experience in consulting or utility industries is a plus.
- Knowledge of other design software such as MicroStation or Inventor is beneficial.
- Desire to learn and understand the reasoning behind design decisions.
This role is based in a professional engineering office, providing a collaborative and innovative environment where you can grow your skills and knowledge.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chesterfield, MO.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
