Job Title: Revit Drafter
Job Description
We are seeking a Revit Drafter to contribute to design-build projects for commercial pools. This role involves setting up Revit for drafting projects, including the creation of families, libraries, and objects, and updating them as necessary. Additionally, you will assist in training other drafters to utilize Revit effectively and serve as a production drafter.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain Revit for drafting projects, including the creation and updating of families, libraries, and objects.
- Collaborate with designers to integrate Revit into the design department.
- Educate other drafters on utilizing Revit for drafting purposes.
- Produce detailed construction documents for permitting and construction using Revit.
- Understand and interpret architectural, MEP, and structural plans, sections, and details.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in Revit is required.
- Minimum of 1-year experience in drafting for architectural, MEP, or structural commercial construction projects.
- Experience in building design or facility drafting in architecture, MEP, or structures.
- Ability to interpret plans, sections, and details to develop construction documents.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Drafting experience with aquatic projects is advantageous.
- An associate degree is preferred; an engineering degree would be a significant advantage.
- Strong mechanical design and drafting skills.
Work Environment
This position is primarily based in an office environment, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day. There is potential for a hybrid schedule, with one day per week remote after demonstrating proficiency and earning the ability. In-office work is preferred.
