Maintenance Technician - (Night shift only)
Job Description
This role is a multi-craft industrial maintenance position in a manufacturing and production environment. You will perform both mechanical and electrical repairs to minimize equipment downtime, carry out reactive and preventive maintenance, and ensure production equipment operates safely and efficiently. You will use a variety of hand and power tools while strictly following all safety protocols and maintenance procedures.
Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical and electrical repairs on production equipment to minimize downtime and maintain consistent output.
- Conduct reactive maintenance to quickly diagnose and resolve equipment issues as they arise.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks on industrial machinery to reduce the likelihood of breakdowns and extend equipment life.
- Troubleshoot industrial equipment using knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems to identify root causes of failures.
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively to perform maintenance, repairs, and equipment adjustments.
- Inspect equipment regularly to identify potential problems and address them before they lead to production interruptions.
- Document maintenance activities and communicate equipment status to relevant team members and leadership as needed.
- Follow all safety protocols, lockout/tagout procedures, and company guidelines related to maintenance work.
- Collaborate with production and other maintenance team members to prioritize work and support efficient manufacturing operations.
Essential Skills
- Experience as a maintenance technician in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting industrial equipment and systems.
- Hands-on experience with hydraulics and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to perform preventive maintenance on industrial machinery.
- Mechanical repair skills for production equipment and related systems.
- Electrical repair skills for industrial equipment and components.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong focus on safety and adherence to maintenance-related safety protocols and procedures.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Any education related to the maintenance industry is a plus.
- Certifications related to industrial maintenance, mechanical systems, electrical systems, or similar disciplines are a bonus.
- Experience in a manufacturing and production environment is highly beneficial.
- Familiarity with non-union industrial workplaces and shift-based operations is an advantage.

Work Environment
This role is based in a climate-controlled manufacturing and production facility, providing a stable and comfortable working environment. The workplace operates as a non-union facility. Positions are available on the night shift, with a schedule of 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., which may include rotating or fixed shift patterns depending on operational needs. You will work around industrial equipment and machinery, using hand and power tools while following all safety protocols and procedures.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $66560.00/yr.
