Job Description
This role involves providing data-driven geographic information solutions by merging geospatial and cartographic skills. The focus is on ensuring quality and customer satisfaction while delivering sustainable geospatial solutions worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Acquire, analyze, compile, evaluate, and review geospatial data for standard and non-standard products.
- Attribute, exploit, extract, format, manipulate, position, and symbolize geospatial information.
- Ensure the quality, accuracy, and currency of geospatial information produced in-house or in cooperation with contractors and suppliers.
- Support national, military, and civil partners and clients with geospatial data needs.
- Proficiency in ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Map, or ArcMap.
- Experience in extracting, manipulating, and utilizing GIS data.
- Working knowledge of vector data and digitizing.
- GIS college classes or certifications.
- Familiarity with routine office software for electronic mail, spreadsheets, and word processing.
The position offers a hybrid schedule for local candidates in St. Louis. Candidates not local to St. Louis will need to have their own computer.
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Saint Louis, MO.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
