Job Description
As a Make Ready Technician, you will be responsible for preparing trailers for remodeling by performing tasks such as tear out, finish carpentry, painting, drywall work, and flooring installation. You will also handle basic plumbing accessory finishing and other make-ready duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Perform tear out of old trailers in preparation for remodeling.
- Complete finish carpentry tasks including trim, doors, and windows for the unit.
- Paint and conduct basic drywall/sheetrock work.
- Lay carpet and tile flooring.
- Perform basic finishing of plumbing accessories.
- Execute additional make-ready duties for the trailer as assigned.
- 1-5 years of experience in carpentry, framing, or building maintenance.
- Proficiency in framing, carpentry, drywall, painting, sheetrock, and finish carpentry.
- Ability to perform trim work and flooring tasks.
- 1-2 years of construction or carpentry experience preferred; other trades will be considered.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- High School Diploma or GED strongly preferred.

Work Environment
All work is conducted outside, facing hot summers and cold winters, with a roof for rainy days. The dress code is flexible, allowing you to wear anything suitable for getting dirty. The team consists of about five employees in production, emphasizing teamwork as well as independent work with minimal direction. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with a 30-minute lunch break, offering the flexibility to leave early. Occasionally, work may be required after hours and on Saturdays, but rarely on Sundays.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Olive Branch, MS.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
