Job Description
The Inbound Forklift Operator is responsible for safely receiving, transporting, and storing medical products within a fast-paced distribution environment. This role requires proficiency in operating reach trucks and order pickers, along with strict adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards applicable to medical supply handling.
Responsibilities
- Operate reach truck and order picker equipment to move, locate, stack, and count products accurately.
- Receive inbound shipments and verify product quantities and condition against documentation.
- Put away inventory in designated warehouse locations following proper slotting procedures.
- Ensure all products are handled in compliance with medical distribution and regulatory standards, including lot control and expiration tracking.
- Perform RF scanning and update inventory in warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits as needed.
- Identify and report damaged products, shortages, or discrepancies.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet productivity and accuracy goals.
- Proficiency in operating reach trucks and order pickers.
- Experience with RF scan gun and warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and work at heights.
- Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periods.
- Experience with cycle counting, picking, and packing orders.
- Knowledge of SAP and material handling.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations and forklift operation policies.

Work Environment
Work in a fast-paced, safety-sensitive warehouse and distribution center, handling regulated medical products. The environment is team-oriented, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace is essential. The shift is from 6am-2:30pm, with flexibility required for earlier or later hours and some weekend work. The facility is very clean, organized, and provides lockers, although they are currently out of service. Headphones and cell phones are not allowed on the floor.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Southaven, MS.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.50 - $19.50/hr.
