Job Description
Join our dynamic team as an Aerospace Structural Assembly Technician where you will be at the forefront of building and assembling parts for rockets, missiles, satellites, and possibly stealth technology structural components for advanced aircraft like the F-35.
Responsibilities
- Read and understand blueprints to guide your assembly process.
- Translate blueprints into fabrications of structural assemblies including precision drilling, countersinking, and use of calibrated tools.
- Align parts on jigs using templates and fixtures to ensure accurate assembly.
- Perform part-fitting operations such as filing, sawing, burring, crimping, trimming, framing, riveting, drilling, and reaming.
- Measure parts with precision tools such as micrometers and calipers to verify dimensions.
- Modify incomplete and complete assemblies to incorporate changes to structure and verify quality according to statistical processes or other control procedures.
- Utilize manufacturing shop controls and systems daily.
- Use appropriate PPE when working on the shop floor.
- Recommend and implement continuous improvement activities in production methods, equipment performance, and team structures.
Essential Skills
- 4+ years experience in aircraft structures.
- Ability to read and translate blueprints into structural assemblies.
- Experience with precision tools like micrometers and calipers.
- Proficiency in riveting, drilling, countersinking, and working with sheet metal and composite parts.
- Active Secret Clearance highly preferred.
- US Citizenship required.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to acquire a Secret Clearance.
- Experience in aircraft maintenance and sheet metal repair.
- Airframe license is a plus.

Work Environment
Work inside an advanced aerospace manufacturing facility where you will be part of a dedicated team. You will not need your own tools as all equipment is provided. The position may be filled at varying shift times, including A Shift from Monday to Thursday or B Shift from Monday to Thursday, 5:30pm to 4am.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Tupelo, MS.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $55.00 - $65.00/hr.
