Job Title: Restoration Technician
Job Description
As a Restoration Technician, you help with demolition and cleanup work in vacant homes following natural disasters and other emergency events. You support restoration efforts involving water, fire, smoke, and mold damage, ensuring properties are safely and thoroughly cleaned while providing professional, customer-focused service.
Responsibilities
- Assist with demolition and cleanup work in vacant homes after natural disasters and other emergency situations.
- Perform restoration tasks related to water, fire, smoke, and mold damage under established procedures and safety guidelines.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools to complete demolition, removal, and cleanup activities efficiently and safely.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and adhere to project plans, timelines, and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area on job sites and in vacant homes.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with team members and customers, providing updates and responding to questions as needed.
- Learn and apply disaster demo and cleanup techniques, including proper handling and disposal of damaged materials.
- Support emergency and disaster recovery operations as needed, adapting to changing job site conditions.
- Operate company vehicles and equipment responsibly, following all safety and driving guidelines.
- Comply with all safety policies, including the use of appropriate protective gear and adherence to construction site protocols.
Essential Skills
- Willingness to learn disaster demolition and cleanup processes, including water, fire, smoke, and mold remediation.
- Customer service orientation with a professional and respectful approach to clients and team members.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience using a variety of hand tools and power tools.
- General construction or restoration experience, including familiarity with mechanical and general labor tasks.
- At least 2+ years of proven work history in labor-intensive or related roles.
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to meet driving requirements, including maintaining a clean driving record.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in carpet cleaning.
- Experience with water, fire, and smoke damage restoration.
- Experience with mold remediation.
- Experience in construction, restoration, mechanical work, or general labor.
- Strong reliability and work ethic, with the ability to follow detailed instructions.
- Comfort working in changing environments and adapting to different job site conditions.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
