As an Architectural Designer II, you’ll contribute to both design and technical execution—working alongside experienced architects, engineers, and consultants while continuing to build the skills that move you toward licensure and project leadership.
What You’ll Do
- Bring projects to life by developing detailed Revit models and comprehensive construction documents across all phases
- Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to deliver well-coordinated, buildable design solutions
- Support the preparation of project specifications and ensure alignment with construction documents
- Review drawings, submittals, and project materials to maintain accuracy, quality, and consistency
- Participate in site visits and project meetings, helping solve real-world field challenges
- Communicate with project teams to keep deliverables on track and meet key milestones
- Utilize industry tools like Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and SpecLink for both design and documentation
- Contribute to the adoption of best practices and emerging design technologies
- Apply your knowledge of codes, building systems, and sustainability to real projects
What You Bring
- 3+ years of architectural experience with increasing responsibility
- Progress toward licensure (AXP complete or in progress, AREs underway or planned)
- Strong understanding of construction documentation and building systems
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
- Ability to interpret and apply building codes confidently
- Experience contributing to QA/QC processes
- A collaborative mindset and ability to work across multidisciplinary teams
- Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills
What Sets You Apart
- Experience with SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, or BSD SpecLink
- Familiarity with Microsoft Project, SharePoint, and Teams
