Description
We are seeking a Senior Android Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide leadership and deep technical expertise in all aspects of solution design and application development for specific business environments. You will focus on setting technical direction on groups of applications and similar technologies, ensuring technically robust solutions that encompass all business, architecture, and technology constraints. This role may involve coordinating teams to accomplish development in a matrixed organization.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop prototype Android customer applications for phones and tablets for internal and external use.
- Participate in the full app life-cycle: concept, design, build, deploy, test, and release to the app store.
- Work with product teams on new product ideas, designs, prototypes, and estimates.
- Keep up-to-date on current and upcoming features in relevant products and platforms.
- Drive a best practices approach to the continuous improvement of our products, processes, and tools.
- Write and maintain documentation for all features in development.
Required Skills:
- 5-7 years of experience in designing and building native mobile applications on the Android platform.
- Proficient in Kotlin, Java OOP, and Dagger 2.0.
- Experience with Android native test automation solutions.
- Proficient in Objective-C, Swift, Swift UI, and extensive knowledge of XCode.
- Development experience in Core Java and knowledge of C-based libraries.
- Proficient in Web Services, REST Services, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, and XML.
- Experience with code versioning tools including Git and Bitbucket.
- Familiarity with biometrics, push notifications, and usage of Camera APIs.
- Ability to collaborate with the design team to define app features.
- Ensuring quality and performance of the application to specifications.
- Identifying potential problems and resolving application bottlenecks.
- Fixing application bugs before the final release.
- Publishing applications on the App Store.
- Maintaining the code and automation of the application.
