Machinist (2nd Shift) located in SAVANNAH, GEORGIA
Overview
As a Machinist, you’ll set up and operate CNC and manual machines to produce high-quality, precise parts. You’ll work with blueprints and machine code in a modern manufacturing facility on a 2nd shift schedule.
What You’ll Do
- Set up and run CNC and manual machines (mills, lathes, grinders, etc.)
- Load and unload parts and tooling
- Read blueprints and follow work instructions
- Use G & M codes to run and adjust CNC machines
- Monitor machines and make adjustments as needed
- Inspect parts using measuring tools to ensure quality
- Document work and communicate with team members
- Perform basic calculations for machining (speeds, feeds, dimensions)
- Keep your work area clean and safe.
What You Need
- 3–5 years of machining experience
- Experience with CNC and manual machines
- Ability to read blueprints and understand G & M code
- Familiarity with FANUC controls
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Basic math skills for machining calculations
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently

This is a Permanent position based out of Durham, NC.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $90000.00/yr.
