About the Role
The Marketing Operations Manager plays a critical role in supporting a large‑scale marketing asset transformation initiative. This position oversees workflow management, issue resolution, and quality control while leading a small production team. The role ensures that all marketing assets are accurate, standardized, properly formatted, and organized for future digital accessibility and reuse. This is a highly collaborative, execution‑heavy environment requiring strong project management, operational discipline, and exceptional attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Workflow Management — Oversee daily production workflows, assign tasks, and ensure timely execution.
- Issue Resolution — Troubleshoot asset‑related challenges and escalate issues when needed.
- Project Management — Manage asset updates, standardization, and transformation tasks across multiple stakeholders.
- Quality Control — Review assets for accuracy, naming conventions, formatting, and metadata compliance.
- Team Leadership — Oversee two production team members and provide guidance, support, and direction.
- Digital Asset Organization — Maintain structured digital libraries and ensure assets are properly categorized.
- Stakeholder Collaboration — Partner with marketing teams to clarify requirements and ensure alignment.
- Process Standardization — Apply templates, naming conventions, and organizational standards consistently.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook).
- Proven project management and workflow coordination experience.
- Excellent organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong understanding of digital file formatting, organization, and metadata.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading small production or operations teams.
- Background in marketing operations, content operations, or digital asset management.
- Experience supporting large‑scale transformation or standardization initiatives.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and high‑volume workloads.
Performance Expectations
- Receive asset direction from marketing stakeholders.
- Locate and assess legacy files across shared platforms.
- Update and standardize assets using templates and organizational guidelines.
- Upload assets into structured libraries with accurate metadata.
- Conduct quality checks before final approval.
- Coordinate with marketing partners to validate accuracy and global variations.
- Ramp expectations:
- Days 1–2: Systems, file locations, project scope
- Days 2–5: Standards, workflows, quality expectations
- End of Week 1: Fully contributing
This is a Contract position based out of Greensboro, NC.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $43.00/hr.
