Project Manager – Federal Architecture

What You’ll Do
- Lead large, complex federal architecture projects from initial planning through close-out
- Direct multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality work aligned with scope, schedule, and budget
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strong performance and client satisfaction
- Serve as a trusted client partner, supporting business development, contract discussions, and project strategy
- Facilitate design charrettes, coordination meetings, and stakeholder workshops to advance project goals
- Oversee project financials, proactively managing budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation
- Implement and uphold QA/QC standards across all deliverables
- Mentor and develop Project Managers and emerging leaders across the team
- Champion design excellence, sustainability, and resilient design strategies
- Stay engaged in the federal market, leveraging insights to strengthen project delivery and client relationships
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and Licensed Architect (required)
- ~10+ years of architectural experience, including 5+ years leading projects and teams
- Proven success managing large, complex, multidisciplinary projects—ideally in the federal sector
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and drive results
- Expertise in project planning, financial management, and resource coordination
- Experience leading client meetings and building long-term relationships
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project)
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance/check

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Huntersville, NC.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $48.00 - $64.00/hr.
