Job Description
The primary purpose of this role is to perform preventative maintenance and maintenance on machines that produce bottling for industries such as Energy Drinks and Hemp products. The company operates in two locations: Mooresville and Atlanta. The Maintenance Technician ensures that the facility's equipment and machines are properly maintained and functioning correctly. This role involves overseeing the facility's maintenance program, identifying and analyzing equipment or machinery failures, and taking corrective actions. Technical training is provided to operators and other team members, and coordination of work performed by outside contractors, vendors, and engineering consultants is also required.
Responsibilities
- Perform duties with a focus on safety, quality, and Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance on all production and facility equipment as directed.
- Adhere to established safety rules and regulations and execute work orders as assigned.
- Troubleshoot and repair high-speed filling and packaging equipment.
- Calibrate equipment and instruments as assigned.
- Support production needs, including leading and assisting on production line changeovers.
- Repair and maintain mechanical equipment such as fillers, case packers, conveyor systems, palletizers, and water purification/filtration systems.
- Improve speed and accuracy of product changeovers and preventative maintenance plans.
- Maintain housekeeping of work areas during and after work is performed.
- Manage the housekeeping of maintenance shop and parts storage areas.
- Install and troubleshoot production equipment.
- Troubleshooting skills
- Experience as a maintenance technician
- Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
- Ability to change 480v motors
- Preventive maintenance expertise
- VFD, electrical, and mechanical repair skills
- Ability to read schematics and blueprints
- Experience with 3-phase systems
- Welding skills are a plus but not required
- Ownership of personal tools

Pay is provided biweekly on the 1st and 15th of each month, with adjustments for holidays and weekends.
Work Environment
The facility covers 128K and operates in a non-climate-controlled environment. It adheres to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), requiring beard guards, gloves, and hair nets when permissible. The production rate includes 300 cans per minute, including glass bottles.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $29.00 - $32.00/hr.
