Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Pay: $28–$33/hour
Job Summary
We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to keep our production equipment and facility running safely and efficiently. This role focuses on repairing, maintaining, and troubleshooting machinery on 2nd or 3rd shift.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain production equipment and facility systems
- Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues
- Read blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Repair motors, controls, and other equipment
- Use tools and testing equipment to ensure proper operation
- Follow safety procedures, including lockout/tagout
- Support production teams during breakdowns
- Keep work areas clean and organized
Requirements
- Experience in industrial maintenance or similar role
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics
- Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic electrical systems
- Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and testing devices
- Ability to work 2nd or 3rd shift
Work Environment
- Clean production facility (temperature can vary with seasons)
- 2nd shift: 2:55 PM – 11:00 PM
- 3rd shift: 10:55 PM – 7:00 AM
- Monday–Friday with overtime on weekends
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Mount Airy, NC.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $68640.00/yr.
11 paid holidays, both PTO and vacation hours, 401k with company matches up to 6% of gross wages on the 91st day. We also offer very affordable benefits’ package available at 30 days. Employees have three plans to choose from.
