Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Phlebotomist with over two years of experience. This role offers the potential to transition to a permanent position and requires strong computer skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service and perform skilled specimen collections.
- Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
- Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
- Process billing information and collect payments when required.
- Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
- Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
- Conduct administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
- Travel to additional sites when needed.
- Phlebotomy certification.
- Experience in blood drawing and specimen collection.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Proficiency in computer skills.
- Experience working in a laboratory setting.
- Ability to manage patient information accurately.
The role involves routine lab work, primarily with patients ranging from teens to geriatrics. The mornings tend to be busy, with a daily volume between 25-30 patients. Phlebotomists will work independently and should be comfortable operating on their own. The work week is Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 12 pm. The position is initially temporary, with the possibility of becoming permanent.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Raleigh, NC.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
