INSTALLER HELPER – $24–$30/hr + $120/Day Per Diem
Description:

A reputable company is hiring Installer Helpers to assist with the installation of skylight panels, glazing systems, and related components on commercial construction projects. This role offers hands-on work, paid travel, per diem, and long-term growth opportunities within the construction industry.
Responsibilities:
• Assist with the installation of skylight panels and glazing systems on commercial projects.
• Move, stage, and organize materials for installation crews.
• Perform caulking, sealing, and waterproofing applications.
• Assemble and install rail systems used in skylight installations.
• Utilize hand and power tools including hammer drills, pliers, snips, pry bars, and screwdrivers.
• Read and follow blueprints, drawings, and installation plans.
• Work safely and efficiently as part of a team in outdoor construction environments.
• Travel to project locations as needed and support installation activities across multiple job sites.
Essential Skills:
• Construction, glazing, carpentry, or general labor experience.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work including lifting, carrying materials, and climbing.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.
• Willingness and ability to travel regularly for project assignments.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints is a plus.
• Window, skylight, framing, or commercial construction experience preferred.
• Welding or rail system assembly experience is beneficial.
• Reliable transportation to and from the reporting location.
• Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills.
Travel & Benefits:
• Pay ranges from $24–$30/hr based on experience.
• $120/day per diem while traveling.
• Company-paid flights for out-of-town assignments.
• Typical schedule consists of 2 weeks on the road followed by 4 days off.
