Job Title: Client Services Specialist
Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Client Services Specialist, providing crucial support on our billing and technology support teams. This is an inbound call center position, handling around 50-75 calls per day, supplemented by email follow-ups. You will play a vital role in ensuring smooth customer interactions and maintaining our high service standards.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers requiring technology support for company products.
- Assist customers with accessing and navigating website applications and software programs.
- Conduct troubleshooting and resolve issues related to product access and functionality.
- Report and test software errors, collaborating with the software development team to implement solutions.
- Answer underwriting questions and support agents with commercial lines automobile and property policies.
- Assist in testing new computer applications and software enhancements.
- Participate in agency support projects to improve communication, data entry, and process flow.
- Train new client services specialists and update team members on new processes and procedures.
Essential Skills
- Customer service experience.
- Basic proficiency in Excel for data entry.
- 0-2 years of relevant experience, suitable for new graduates with internships or related work.
- Bachelor’s Degree or Associate’s Degree in a related field.
- Ability to pass basic math and proofreading tests with strong scores.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Knowledge of commercial automobile and property rating and policy coverages.
- Understanding of insurance coverages, rating, and insurance products.
- Familiarity with company guidelines on policy applications and account profitability.
- Background in finance, business, statistics, and insurance principles.
- Proficiency in personal computer-related spreadsheet, database manipulation, and statistical software.
Work Environment
This role operates within a supportive and collaborative environment, with shifts from Monday to Friday, 10:30 am to 7 pm after training. The training period is 8-12 weeks, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 5 pm. The team values work-life balance and offers a casual dress code of jeans and a nice shirt. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.50 - $23.50/hr.
